The SWAT Technical Response Team is accepting memorandums for assignment to the SWAT Unit for an open position and to establish an eligibility list.
All interested law enforcement deputies must complete a memorandum through their chain of command to Major Dennis Komar, Patrol Operations Bureau. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member requesting the transfer shall contact Sergeant Jason Bahret via email.
Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office who meet the qualifications will attend an 8-hour tryout / interview process scheduled for August 22, 2022.
Closing date for applications will be no later than August 11, 2022.
