CALLING ALL DIVERS- PAO Circle of Heroes Dive Trip on Saturday, May 28th

On behalf of the Property Appraisers Office, they have extended an invitation to our members to participation in scuba diving trip to the Circle of Heroes underwater memorial.
Pinellas County Property Appraiser Mike Twitty will be leading a group of scuba divers to the Circle of Heroes Veterans’ Memorial, the world’s only underwater veterans’ memorial, which is located right here off the coast of Clearwater! The memorial is comprised of a 100-foot circle surrounded by life-sized statutes of service members representing all branches of the armed forces.
You and your family and friends are invited to join us!! The trip is planned for Sat. May 28th (Memorial Day weekend), which is a great way to pay respect to our heroes that have protected us and our freedom. This is a two-tank trip, so we will also dive a second dive site.

All divers must hold an Open Water scuba diver certification.
Pricing:
2-Tank Trip – $115 (Circle of Hero’s & 2nd Dive Site) - includes weights
2 Aluminum Air Tanks – $20
Zeagle BCD, Atomic B2 Regulator, and 2 Air Tanks – $40
Full Gear Package – $50 (Zeagle BCD, Atomic B2 Regulator, Wetsuit, Computer, Mask, Fins, Snorkel upon request)
Wetsuit – $10
The boat leaves the dock from 198 Seminole St, Clearwater at 8am.
In addition to booking, all Pinellas County Government divers will also need to sign the attached waiver from County Risk Management.
If you join us, please send an email to Jvanheest@pcpao.org with your waiver form and the names of any guest divers in your group so that we have a gauge on the overall number.
It’s going to be a great trip…and we’ll be sure to take some video both topside and underwater so our non-diver colleagues can see what we’re up to. Maybe it will inspire them to get certified before our next adventure😊
