The SWAT Team is accepting memorandums to fill a vacancy and establish an eligibility list for the position of SWAT Armored Vehicle Operator (AVO). The AVOs are responsible with operation, care, and maintenance of the Rook and GPV armored vehicles.
All interested members must complete a memorandum through their chain of command to Major Dennis Komar, Patrol Operations Bureau. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member shall contact Sergeant Bahret via e-mail, notifying him of the applicant’s interest in the position.
Upon assignment, member will be eligible for SWAT Armored Vehicle Operator pay.
Closing date for applications will be no later than February 24, 2022.
