Subject: NGI/III Scheduled Maintenance - Sunday, January 9, 2022
This notification is sent to you from the FDLE Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division. It is to inform you that FBI CJIS will perform scheduled maintenance on the Next Generation Identification (NGI) system and the Interstate Identification Index (III) from 0200 until 0800 EDT on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
During this outage, the Repository for Individuals of Special Concern (RISC) component of Rapid ID transactions may be unavailable. Information regarding the following types of records may not be returned as part of a Rapid ID response:
· Wanted Persons records that include an FBI number
· Sex Offender Registry Subject records
· Known or Appropriately Suspected Terrorist records
· Immigration Violator File records
· Foreign Subjects of Interest file
Additionally, national RAP sheets may be unavailable to users (including Rapid ID) from 0200 until 0700.
