Our agency will be sending a contingent of members to Lutz, FL (Hillsborough County) for the funeral service of Master Corporal Brian LaVigne (Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office), who was killed in the line of duty on Monday (January 11, 2021). The contingent will leave on January 19, 2021 at 09:30 am, from the SAB. The service will be held at Idlewild Baptist Church (18333 Exciting Idlewild Boulevard, Lutz, FL) beginning at 11:00 am. Immediately following the service, members will be directed outside the church for a full honors presentation. The final procession will take place thereafter and face coverings will be required.
If you would like to represent our agency, please contact Lieutenant Joseph Gerretz at jgerretz@pcsonet.com, after obtaining your supervisor’s approval. The uniform of the day will be the Class – A long sleeve with tie, campaign hat, and black mourning band. If you are interested in attending, please notify Lieutenant Gerretz, no later than January 17, 2021.
