The Major Accident Investigation Team is accepting memorandums for assignment to the team, for the position of team member, and to establish an eligibility list. Prior to the interview, applicants will be required to pass a basic mathematics exam with a passing score of 70%. Applicants are encouraged to provide copies of three (3) separate crash reports, which best demonstrate their ability to conduct crash investigations.
All members interested must submit a memorandum requesting an interview for the position of M.A.I.T. Member directed to Major Dennis Komar, via their chain of command. Upon submitting the memorandum, the member requesting the appointment shall contact Sergeant Stephen Bergstrom, via email, notifying him of the applicant’s interest in the position and to schedule an exam date.
Closing date for applications will be no later than October 8, 2020.
